Day 19 Of Reformation

Back to the grind. Its Monday, second week of March Break for Matt and Lindsay. Lots to do today, and a rehearsal tonight. I get to lead worship again this Sunday, what a joy!

I was created to worship. You were created to worship. The neat thing is that we get to express it in completely unique ways.

I love it that God has uniquely wired each of us, we are "one of a kind".

"O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
You understand my thoughts from afar. You scrutinize my pathe and my lying down.
You are intimately acquainted with all my ways."

Thank God He knows us well, and He sees us with the perfect eyes of a loving Father. He sees when we blow it, and yet keeps encouraging us to try again.

Hebrews 4
4:15
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet was without sin.
4:16
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Wherever you are at on your Reformation with God, be encouraged. There are no failures, only more opportunity to run to Him for answers or a new perspective. He sees you with eyes of success, and you are created to worship Him, by telling your stories of His goodness in your life.

Today I was starting to feel a bit discouraged and noticed a crappy attitude coming on...(potty mouth gave it away)lol...so I repented and started to worship instead...and I still feel crappy physically...but my spirit feels better!:o)
I am encouraged...and I am so glad that no matter what is going on in life...we can still praise Him!:o)

Hello Beautiful. And Hello Mondays...last night we had a worship practice that was...rough to say the least! No one's fault - just a lot of variables. So thanks for the pick-me-up reminder of encouragement! That and my dog Amelia who is running around with her new toy (a red stuffed octopus that squeaks). Here she comes squeak, squeak, squeak with this red octopus in her mouth looking up at me with mischief and joy, hoping I will take the bait and play with her. She makes me smile! The other day we took her to the "puppy park". Talk about joy abounding! Never seen so many happy, joyful, smiling dogs all in one place! I think we could learn a thing or two. Go hang out with everybody, play like there is no tomorrow, run like the wind and say a big HI! to everyone you meet.
Luv ya - cyndi lou who

Sounds like a plan Cindy! Dogs don't think bad thoughts. They are always loving and full of mischief and fun.

I totally get the rough worship practice, just had one myself. So, no - thank you for the reminder!

Love you
