Gratitude Saturday

My friend Holly has started a great habit. Every Saturday she posts a page on her blog called "Gratitude Saturday"

What a great thought! Every Saturday she writes about things she is grateful for. She is an inspiration, and has such a bubby contagioius attitude, and is a great listener. I've decided that we need to join her each Saturday, as part of our Reformation site.
Thanks Holly! I am grateful for you.

Gratitude, appreciation, or thankfulness, is an emotion, which involves a feeling of emotional indebtedness towards another person; often accompanied by a desire to thank them, or to reciprocate for a favour they have done for you. In a religious context, gratitude can also refer to a feeling of indebtedness towards a deity, e.g. the expression of gratitude to God is a central theme of Christianity.

"Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom."- Marcel Proust

"Appreciation can make a day, even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary." - Margaret Cousins

So this Gratitude Saturday, the beginning of a New Reformation I am grateful for:

My husband and kids
My son's butterfly kisses
My daughter's constant giggles and contagious smile
My other daugther's zest for life and people
Yummy red currant jam
Saturday morning family breakfasts
Music
Friends who are the gardeners that help my soul blossom
The Chief Gardener (God) who cultivates the soil in my heart
Laughter and the ability to laugh at myself
My mom and dad
Sunshine and flowers
Spring

Gratitude...I am thankful for a clean house that is void of the littlest party animals known as roaches.
I am also thankful for a sense of humor to get through wild adventures with new friends.
I am thankful for all these blogging friends, and the other divine appts. God brings my way.
